Capture it once.
Email routes it where it belongs.

Toss doesn't store your captures — it moves them. Every voice note, text, screenshot, photo, or file gets routed by email to the destination you've set up, with the right context and format for what's waiting on the other end.

Captured in Toss. Routed by email. Your workflow takes it from there.

Your inbox is already a workflow engine.

Email works with every tool, every team, and every automation — without needing an integration, an API key, or a migration. Toss uses that as the transport layer for every capture, so nothing requires setup on the receiving end.

Universal

Every tool that has an email address can receive a Toss capture. No integrations, no plugins, no API setup required.

Filter and automate-friendly

Subject tags make it easy to filter, label, forward, or trigger automations the moment a capture arrives. Your tools already know how to handle email.

No migration required

Toss feeds the systems you already use. Nothing to replace, no new habit to build into your team — just a faster way to get things into the right place.

Set up destinations once. Route everything from there.

A destination is a named slot in Toss — with an email address, a subject tag, and settings for how the capture should arrive. Set them up once in Pro, and every capture you route there lands exactly as expected.

Email address

Each destination routes to an email address you control. Two destinations can share the same address — differentiated by subject tag — so one inbox can handle multiple workflows with filters.

Subject tag

Every email from a destination gets a consistent subject tag — like [Support] or [Work] — so your filters, automations, and tools know exactly what to do with it on arrival.

AI treatment

Choose how voice captures arrive at each destination: bullet points for action-oriented inboxes, prose for context-heavy ones, or the clean raw transcript when you need every word.

Voice attachment

Toggle whether the original audio file stays attached. Useful when tone or nuance matters beyond the transcript — or when the receiving end needs the source file.

Voice prefix routing

On Pro, say "For support, ..." or "For work, ..." at the start of any voice capture and Toss routes it to that destination automatically — no tapping required.

Same address. Two destinations. Zero confusion.

You can point multiple destinations to the same email address — as long as the subject tags are different. Your filters do the sorting.

Example setup

Work → work@company.com · subject: [Work]
Support → work@company.com · subject: [Support]

One inbox. Two filtered workflows. Each capture lands in the right place automatically.

What routing actually changes.

Without a destination, a capture is just a note. With one, it's already in the workflow.

WITHOUT TOSS

"I send voice memos to myself. Then I have to re-listen, type it up, and create the task manually. Usually I don't."

WITH TOSS

"For work — follow up on the contract before end of week."

Arrives at your task intake as a bullet point. Ready to act on.

WITHOUT TOSS

"I screenshot client issues and forward them from my personal inbox. Half the time they sit there for days."

WITH TOSS

Share screenshot → Toss → Support destination.

Tagged [Support] email arrives at helpdesk. Ticket created.

WITHOUT TOSS

"Our Zapier automation triggers on emails with specific subjects. Getting captures into it is a manual mess."

WITH TOSS

Toss destination → automation email address · subject: [Trigger].

Every capture fires the automation. No manual steps.

Works with the tools you already use.

If it has an email address, Toss can feed it. No plugins, no OAuth, no integration setup.

Task managers

Todoist, Linear, Asana, and others accept email. Toss routes captures straight into your task intake.

Helpdesks

Odoo, Zendesk, Freshdesk, and similar tools create tickets from email. A screenshot becomes a ticket in seconds.

Automations

Zapier, Make, and n8n all trigger on email. Subject tags from Toss destinations make filtering precise.

Any inbox

Personal, team, or project inbox — if it receives email, it can receive Toss captures, with context and attachments included.

Frequently asked questions

You set up destinations in Toss — each with a name, an email address, and a subject tag. When you capture something and route it to a destination, Toss sends an email to that address with the subject tag, the capture content, and any attachments. On Pro, you can also route automatically by starting a voice note with "For work, ..." or "For support, ...".

Yes. Two destinations can point to the same email address as long as they have different subject tags. Your email filters or automation rules can then sort them. This is useful if you want one inbox to handle multiple workflows — for example, Work and Support both going to the same team address, split by subject.

No. Toss is the capture layer before your workflow — it feeds the tools you already use, not another place to manage things. Your task manager, helpdesk, CRM, or automation handles everything after the email arrives.

On Pro, each destination can be set to receive voice captures as bullet points, a short prose summary, or the clean raw transcript from Whisper. You set it per destination — so your task inbox can receive bullet points while your ideas inbox gets full prose.

Yes. If your automation platform can trigger on incoming email — which Zapier, Make, n8n, and most others can — you can point a Toss destination at its email trigger address. The subject tag makes filtering precise so only the right captures fire the right automations.

Toss has a free tier with one destination and core capture. Pro adds multiple named destinations, each with its own email address, subject tag, AI treatment setting, and voice attachment toggle — plus voice prefix auto-routing.
